Fakirganj Police Capture Drug Kingpin Mohibul After Three-Year Pursuit
Dhubri, August 30, 2024: In a significant breakthrough, Fakirganj Police successfully apprehended notorious drug mafia Mohibul, who had eluded law enforcement for three years. The arrest took place last night at Birsingh Notun Bazaar, marking the end of Mohibul’s long-standing drug trafficking operations in the Dhubri district.
Mohibul, also known as Mohibul Islam, aged 27, hails from Birshing Part III village under Fakirganj Police Station. His illicit activities have been on the radar of the police for years, with multiple attempts to capture him. Just a month ago, Dhubri Police had tried to arrest Mohibul at Jogamaya Ghat, but he managed to evade capture by discarding the drugs into the river.
However, this time, there was no escape. Acting on precise intelligence, a dedicated team from Fakirganj Police swooped in, leaving Mohibul with no chance to flee. A case against him had already been registered by Fakirganj Police in 2023 under case number 93/2023, but it took relentless effort and perseverance to bring the drug kingpin to justice.
