Dhubri, January 20, 2024 – In a united effort, employees under the New Pension System (NPS) in Dhubri, along with their counterparts across the entire state, staged a protest urging authorities to reconsider their pension structure. The focal point of their demonstration is the demand for the cancellation of the New Pension System and the reinstatement of the Old Pension System (OPS).
Representatives from various departments in the district actively participated in the protest, emphasizing the need for the swift implementation of OPS.
