Assam Direct Recruitment Exam 2024 Schedule Announced: Key Dates and Guidelines
Guwahati, September 03, 2024: The Assam Direct Recruitment Examination 2024 schedule has been released by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC). This much-anticipated recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in Class III and IV posts across the state.
With over 18.5 lakh candidates vying for Class III positions and approximately 13.7 lakh for Class IV, the competition is intense. The examination dates are crucial for all candidates.
Exam Schedule
For Class III Posts:
1. HSSLC Level:
– Date: 15th September 2024 (Sunday)
– Time: 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM
– Paper: Paper-III
2. Bachelor’s Degree Level:
– Date: 29th September 2024 (Sunday)
– Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
– Paper: Paper-IV
3. HSLC Level (Driver):
– Date: 29th September 2024 (Sunday)
– Time: 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
– Paper: Paper-V
For Class IV Posts:
1. HSLC Level (Including ITI Passed):
– Date: 27th October 2024 (Sunday)
– Time: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
– Paper: Paper-I
2. Class VIII Level:
– Date: 27th October 2024 (Sunday)
– Time: 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
– Paper: Paper-II
Candidates can begin downloading their admit cards for HSSLC level posts starting from 2nd September 2024 at 11:00 AM. The official websites for updates and admit card downloads are [assam.gov.in] and [www.sebaonline.org].
Important Exam Guidelines:
Candidates must bring their admit cards, a blue or black pen, a valid photo ID, and a minimal amount of cash. They should arrive at their exam centers at least an hour before the scheduled time to ensure smooth entry and checking.
Prohibited items include books, papers, mobile phones, calculators, and any electronic gadgets. Additionally, any objectionable material is strictly banned. PwBD candidates eligible for scribes must submit a disability certificate along with the application form available on the official websites.
Every candidate has to carry at least one photo identity card issued by Government Authority for matching photo with name such as Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Driving License etc.
OMR Sheet Instructions:
– Use only blue or black ballpoint pens for filling out the OMR sheets.
– Rough work must be done only in the designated area in the question booklet. Overwriting or using a whitener on the OMR sheet is prohibited.
Post-Exam Protocol:
After the exam, candidates must submit their OMR Answer Sheet and Question Booklet to the invigilator. They must also sign Form No. 8 to confirm attendance.
Engaging in unfair practices during the examination is strictly forbidden. The Assam Public Examination (Measures for Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act, 2024, imposes penalties, including up to three years of imprisonment, for violations.
