Dhubri, January 20, 2024 – In a concerted effort to combat the alarming issue of child marriages, an extensive awareness program was conducted in Dhubri. The initiative, spearheaded by the District Administration and supported by Panchayat representatives, aimed to educate communities on the detrimental impacts of child marriages.
The awareness campaign commenced with a strategic meeting held at the Bhasanirchar Gaon Panchayat Office, where Circle Officer of Dhubri Revenue Circle Partho Pratim Barman and Panchayat representatives deliberated on the crucial need to address this societal concern. Following the meeting, the proactive team embarked on a door-to-door campaign to disseminate information and raise awareness among the local populace.
