Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Launches Public Services in Guwahati, Strengthening Mission Basundhara 3.0
Guwahati, September 09, 2024: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma officially launched several public services in Guwahati aimed at improving governance and disaster management. These services are expected to enhance efficiency and provide timely assistance to citizens.
The Escalation Matrix is a system designed to ensure timely handling and resolution of issues under the Assam Right to Public Services (ARTPS) Act. It sets clear timeframes for government officials to address matters, ensuring accountability.
Next, the E-Chitha platform will allow users to access the history of any land in Assam. This service promises to improve transparency and reduce disputes over land ownership.
The Land Valuation Certificate service will provide buyers and sellers with authentic land value information. This will help individuals make informed decisions when dealing with land transactions.
Additionally, the Community Response System, developed by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), will help the government, NGOs, and volunteers offer faster aid to disaster victims. This system will coordinate responses and ensure that resources reach affected communities swiftly.
These new services will supplement the Mission Basundhara 3.0, which is set to launch soon. The government is conducting workshops alongside the current program to ensure the success of this ambitious land management initiative.
