Northeast Frontier Railway Announces Special Exam Trains for ADRE Grade III & IV Exams in Assam
Guwahati, September 12, 2024: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has introduced several special trains to handle the increased passenger demand for the upcoming ADRE Grade III and IV exams in Assam, scheduled for 15th September 2024. These trains aim to provide smooth and convenient travel for students and examinees across different regions.
Special Trains Between Haibargaon and Guwahati
To accommodate the anticipated rush during exam time, NFR has scheduled two exam special trains between Haibargaon and Guwahati:
– Haibargaon – Guwahati Exam Special (Train No. 05175)
– Date of Run: 14th September 2024
– Departure: 11:30 PM from Haibargaon
– Arrival: 04:00 AM at Guwahati
– Guwahati – Haibargaon Exam Special (Train No. 05176)
– Date of Run: 15th September 2024
– Departure: 07:05 PM from Guwahati
– Arrival: 11:15 PM at Haibargaon
These trains will halt at several important stations, including Senchoa, Bebeja, Phulaguri, Raha, Chaparmukh jn., Thekeraguri, Dharamtul, Sonoubary, Aujari, Jagiroad, Barahu, Kamrup Khetri, Tetelia, Digaru, Panbari, Thakurkuchi, Panikhaiti and Narengi ensuring better connectivity. Each train will consist of eight coaches to accommodate a large number of passengers.
Special Trains Between Alipurduar Junction and Bongaigaon
Additionally, NFR has announced two more special trains between Alipurduar Junction and Bongaigaon:
– Alipurduar Jn. – Bongaigaon Exam Special (Train No. 05159)
– Date of Run: 14th September 2024
– Departure: 06:00 PM from Alipurduar Jn.
– Arrival: 01:00 AM at Bongaigaon
– Bongaigaon – Alipurduar Jn. Exam Special (Train No. 05160)
– Date of Run: 15th September 2024
– Departure: 06:00 PM from Bongaigaon
– Arrival: 01:45 AM at Alipurduar Jn.
These trains will halt at key stations such as New Coochbehar, Bidyadabri, Dhubri, Gauripur, Golakgnaj jn., Moterjhar, Basbari, Monglajhora, Tipkai, Sapatgram, Fakiragram jn., Kokrajhar, Salakati, Basugaon, Dangtal and New Bongaigaon. They will provide 20 coaches, ensuring ample space for examinees and other passengers.
Special Trains Between Mariani Junction and Narangi
NFR will also operate special exam trains between Mariani Junction and Narangi to further ease the rush:
– Mariani Jn. – Narangi Exam Special (Train No. 05161)
– Date of Run: 14th September 2024
– Departure: 04:00 PM from Mariani Jn.
– Arrival: 04:55 AM at Narangi
– Narangi – Mariani Jn. Exam Special (Train No. 05162)
– Date of Run: 15th September 2024
– Departure: 08:25 PM from Narangi
– Arrival: 09:00 AM at Mariani Jn.
These trains will halt at multiple stations, including Cinnamara, Jorhat Town, Bhalukmara, Moabund, Barua Bamungaon, Rangaliting, Badulipar, Khumtai, Numoligarh, Golaghat, Furkating jn., Jamguri, Bhilgaon, Barpathar, Sarupathar, Naojan, Chngajan, Bokajan, Khotkhoti, Dimapur, Rangapahar, Dhansiri, Daldali, Diphu, Nailalung, Langchoilet, Barlongfer, Lumding jn., Patharkhola, Lamsakhang, Habaipur, Lanka, Dhalpukhuri, Hojai, Jugijan, Jamunamukh, Kampur, Laopani, Chaparmukh Jn., Thekeraguri, Dharamtul, Sonuabary, Aujari, Jagiroad, Barahu, Kamrup Khetri, Tetelia, Panbari, Thakurkuchi and Panikhaiti ensuring exam candidates can travel across a broad region with ease. Each train will have 16 coaches for passenger accommodation.
Special Trains Between Karimganj Juncion and Silchar
NFR is also operating special trains between Karimganj Junction and Silchar:
– Karimganj Jn. – Silchar Exam Special (Train No. 05179)
– Date of Run: 14th September 2024
– Departure: 08:00 PM from Karimganj Jn.
– Arrival: 10:30 PM at Silchar
– Silchar – Karimganj Jn. Exam Special (Train No. 05180)
– Date of Run: 15th September 2024
– Departure: 12:05 AM from Silchar
– Arrival: 02:40 AM at Karimganj Jn.
These trains will halt at important locations, such as New Karimganj, Chargola, Rupasibari, Badarpur Jn., Panchgram, Katakhal, Salchapra and Arunachal. The composition includes eight coaches, making travel more accessible for students.

– Arrival: 07:30 AM at Alipurduar Jn.

The composition includes sixteen coaches, making travel more accessible for students.
These exam special trains by the NFR are expected to significantly ease the travel burden during this crucial time for students. With more coaches, multiple halts, and convenient timings, these trains offer an efficient and reliable travel option for examinees.
