STF Assam Seizes Heroin in Guwahati Operation; Suspect Apprehended
Guwahati, September 19, 2024: Acting on reliable intelligence, the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam launched an operation at 2 No. Railway Gate, located under Panbazar Police Station in Guwahati. The raid was carried out with precision, leading to the arrest of one suspect involved in drug trafficking. The authorities responded swiftly to ensure the success of the operation.
During the operation, STF personnel recovered a total of 21 vials containing heroin, which weighed 29 grams. The drugs were seized from the suspect, who attempted to evade the arrest but was successfully apprehended. The recovery adds to the ongoing efforts to curb drug-related activities in the region.
