Golaghat Police Busts Major Drug Operation, Seizes 62.71 Grams of Heroin Near Begnakhowa Chariali
Guwahati, September 20, 2024: In a successful anti-drug operation, Golaghat Police uncovered a major drug trafficking racket near Begnakhowa Chariali under Golaghat Police Station. Officers seized 62.71 grams of heroin, concealed in five soap boxes, during the operation.
One peddler involved in the trafficking network was apprehended at the scene. Authorities also seized a vehicle linked to the illegal operation, which was used for transporting the drugs.
