Assam Police Foil Infiltration Attempt, Push Back Four Bangladeshi Nationals
Assam Police maintained heightened security along the Indo-Bangladesh border, apprehending four Bangladeshi nationals attempting illegal entry. The individuals, identified as Md Jahangir, Nucadiya Bibi, Rumana, and Md Hussain, were caught near the international boundary.
The police immediately took action to push the infiltrators back across the border into Bangladesh. This decisive response underscores Assam’s ongoing efforts to safeguard its borders from illegal crossings.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma acknowledged the police’s vigilance through his social media handle ‘X.’ He commended the team’s swift action, stating, “Good job Team!”
