Kamrup District Administration Honors Dr. Bhupen Hazarika on Death Anniversary
Guwahati: The Kamrup District Administration observed the death anniversary of the legendary Assamese musician and cultural icon, Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, with a respectful tribute ceremony. Officials, led by Kamrup’s District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra, gathered to honor Dr. Hazarika’s memory.
The solemn event took place at the statue of Dr. Hazarika, prominently located in front of the Integrated District Commissioner’s Office in Amingaon. Floral tributes were offered by DC Mishra and other attending officials, reflecting the district’s respect and admiration for Dr. Hazarika’s immense contributions to Assamese culture and music.
