Assam Police Nabs 9 Bangladeshi Nationals, Pushes Them Back Across Border
In a decisive operation, Assam Police apprehended nine Bangladeshi nationals in Karimganj district. They were caught attempting to enter India illegally. The individuals were later sent back across the international border, ensuring the district’s security.
The infiltrators were identified as Md Mamun, Abbu Naim, Rashed Islam, Morad Ali Mandal, Md Asraful Haque, Md Basir Hawladar, Md Robiul Hawladar, Md Mahabat Ali, and Md Mohim Hossain.
Authorities emphasized their vigilance in safeguarding the border and preventing unlawful activities. This incident highlights Assam Police’s proactive approach to maintaining order and addressing cross-border challenges.
