Assam STF Seizes ₹11.31 Lakh in Fake Currency During Ganeshguri Operation
Guwahati: In a major breakthrough, the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police conducted a successful operation in Ganeshguri, Guwahati. Acting on reliable intelligence, the team targeted individuals involved in circulating Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN).
The operation, carried out under Dispur Police Station, led to the apprehension of two suspects. Authorities recovered fake currency worth ₹11.31 lakh, along with three mobile phones and cash during the raid.

Officials stated that the seized counterfeit notes were of high quality and likely intended for large-scale distribution. The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated to uncover the larger network involved.
