Agomani,January 31, 2024: In a significant operation, three youths were apprehended with narcotics on the Assam-Bengal border in Lohapara. The individuals were identified as Rashidul Islam, Sahidul Islam, and Prabir Sinha, all hailing from Bidyadabri Part II village.
The arrests took place during an interception of the suspects who were transporting drugs in a four-wheeler with registration number AS 01 AJ 8973. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Officials of the Chagolia Police Out Post collaborated on the operation, acting on specific intelligence inputs.

During the raid, law enforcement seized a substantial quantity of narcotic drugs, totaling 175 grams, from the three arrested individuals. The successful operation is indicative of the continued efforts by authorities to curb illicit drug trafficking activities along the Assam-Bengal border.
