Guwahati; February 21, 2025: In a significant breakthrough, the Guwahati Cyber Police Station has recovered ₹5 lakh for a victim who lost ₹41.3 lakh in an online investment scam. The authorities are working tirelessly to retrieve the remaining amount.

According to officials, the victim was lured by fraudsters promising high returns through a fake investment scheme. Believing the claims, the individual invested a large sum before realizing the scam. Upon reporting the case, the cyber police launched an investigation and successfully recovered a portion of the lost money.
