Guwahati, March 6, 2025: The results of the highly anticipated Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) 2025 for Third Grade and Fourth Grade positions will be officially announced on March 7, as confirmed by the State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC), Assam.

In a crucial press conference held today at Khanapara Staff College, senior officials briefed the media about the examination results and the subsequent selection process. The press meet was addressed by IAS Ajay Tiwari, Chairman of the Third Grade Recruitment Commission, IAS Dr. B Kalyan Chakravarthy, Chairman of the Fourth Grade Recruitment Commission and Ramesh Chandra Jain, Chairman of the Assam State School Education BoardOfficials assured that the results are fully prepared and will be uploaded by midnight (March 7, 12:00 AM) to ensure a smooth and timely release.

“We want to inform that the results are ready and will be announced tomorrow. After 12 AM, we will try to upload them so that candidates can access their results easily in the morning. The cutoff marks will also be published tomorrow,” said IAS Ajay Tiwari, Chairman of the Third Grade Recruitment Commission.

This year’s ADRE 2025 examination witnessed a record-breaking participation, with a total of 13,36,106 candidates appearing for the Third Grade recruitment test, making it one of the largest recruitment drives in Assam.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 12,600 government job vacancies across different departments:

• Grade 3 positions: 7,600 vacancies

• Grade 4 positions: 5,000 vacancies

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will proceed to the skill test, which plays a crucial role in the final selection process. The final merit list will be based on the combined scores of the written exam and skill test, with results to be announced at a later stage.

Following the examination, the State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC), Assam had released provisional answer keys, allowing candidates to raise objections. Officials have confirmed that all valid objections were carefully reviewed before finalizing the answer key. Additionally, candidates whose objections were accepted will receive a refund of the objection fee.

The ADRE Grade 3 examination was conducted in two phases:

• HSSLC (Class 12) level positions – Exam held on September 15, 2024

• Graduate-level & HSLC driver positions – Exam held on September 29, 2024

For ADRE Grade 4, which includes vacancies for HSLC, HSLC+ITI, and Class 8 qualifications, the examination was conducted on October 27, 2024.
