The joyous event, characterized by stunning visuals, captured the essence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s presence in Assam.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared the delightful moment on the microblogging site X, expressing the overwhelming response from the people. The radiant sea of lights created a mesmerizing backdrop, symbolizing the warmth and welcome extended to the Prime Minister.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Guwahati’s Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport, where he received a grand welcome from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, and other dignitaries. The airport premises came alive with a vibrant display of traditional dances, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Assam.
Notably, PM Modi’s early arrival, initially scheduled for around 7:30 pm, did not dampen the spirits of the crowd. Despite the change in schedule, a large number of dancers and well-wishers lined up to extend their heartfelt greetings to the Prime Minister.
