Dhubri, February 10, 2024: Dhubri District’s Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nitya Binod Wari, held a press conference at the Dhubri District Information and Public Relations Officer’s office to discuss the upcoming half-marathon race. Scheduled for February 11, the marathon is a collaborative effort between the Dhubri district administration and will take place in Dhubri itself.
This marks the inaugural half-marathon in Dhubri, aiming to provide participants with a light-hearted yet spirited adventure while promoting the importance of fitness and mental well-being. The event will also raise awareness about “Road safety measures” and support the Government’s “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” scheme.

The marathon will feature categories of 5 KM, 10 KM, and 21 KM. Notably, 500 contestants have already registered online to participate in this exciting event.
