Dhubri, February 19, 2024: In a worrisome development, rural areas of Parbatjhora are facing a growing threat as elephants venture out from forests in search of sustenance. Tonight, a hungry wild elephant prompts concern, with its herd roaming the vicinity, causing alarm among residents.
Originating from the Parbatjhora forests, the elephant herd unexpectedly appeared on National Highway 17 at Panbari via Rameshwar. Over recent days, the presence of these wild elephants has stirred panic in the local community.
