Gossaigaon, February 21, 2024: In a chilling turn of events, Gossaigaon once again grapples with the harrowing menace of witch-hunting. The recent victim, an elderly woman identified as Maino Hasdah, fell prey to the superstitions prevailing in the region. This heart-wrenching incident unfolded on the night of February 20 in Paharpur, Satyapur, under the jurisdiction of Gossaigaon Police Station.
