Transitioning to infrastructure, Mahanta unveiled plans for a Rs 164 crore flyover in Jorhat at Baruah Chariali. Connecting Baruah Chariali to Bhogdoi Bridge, this project promises enhanced connectivity and economic growth.
Further financial moves were approved as the Assam cabinet gave the green light to borrow Rs 4,546 crores and 74 lakhs from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). This strategic loan is expected to fuel various developmental initiatives.
