AGP Strategizes for Dhubri Lok Sabha Elections Amidst Growing Optimism
Dhubri, March 06, 2024: As the Dhubri Lok Sabha elections approach, the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) is actively preparing its booth-level workers, instilling a sense of hope within the party for the impending political battle.
This electoral showdown will showcase a clash between foreign candidates and a local contender. Apurba Bhattacharjee boldly forecasts Badaruddin Ajmal’s imminent departure, signaling a noteworthy shift in the political landscape. Bhattacharjee doesn’t shy away from criticizing Rakibul Hussain, adding depth to the evolving political narrative.
In a calculated move, the AGP has selected a local candidate in Dhubri, strategically positioning themselves to counter the influence of AIUDF and Congress in the region. Satyabrat Kalita, the central General Secretary of Asom Gana Parishad, asserts that Congress and All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) leaders disregard Dhubri’s integral connection to Assam. Kalita alleges that their visits to Dhubri during the elections resemble leisurely picnics rather than sincere political engagements.
As the Dhubri Lok Sabha elections draw near, AGP’s proactive preparations and strategic maneuvers take center stage. With a local candidate in the fray, the party is poised to challenge the dominance of AIUDF and Congress, setting the stage for a compelling electoral showdown.
