Dumper Driver Fatally Struck by Tree in Udalguri’s Tarabari Tragedy
Udalguri, March 21, 2024: Tragedy struck in Udalguri’s Tarabari today, as a dumper driver lost control of his vehicle and tragically succumbed to the impact of a collision with a tree. The driver, identified as Dhananjay Dhar, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The incident occurred on the outskirts of Bengbari-Kalaigaon Mekenzi road at Tarabari, falling under the jurisdiction of the Paneri police station in Udalguri district. The dumper involved bore the registration number AS 01 NC 9143.
At approximately 3:30 PM, the dumper veered off course and collided with a tree, resulting in fatal consequences for Dhananjay Dhar. Prompt response from the Paneri police station facilitated rescue operations at the scene.
This tragic event underscores the importance of road safety and vigilance while operating heavy vehicles. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
