Three Smugglers Arrested with Drugs in Parbatjhora: Bagribari Police Seize Brown Sugar and Paraphernalia
Dhubri, March 29, 2024: In a significant breakthrough, officials from the Bagribari Police Station thwarted a drug smuggling attempt, culminating in the apprehension of three individuals transporting narcotics. The operation unfolded during routine checks conducted by vigilant officers along the route from Dhubri to Bilasipara.
Upon intercepting a four-wheeler bearing the registration number AS 01 FB 8684, authorities discovered illicit substances in the possession of the suspects. Subsequent investigation led to the seizure of 5.97 grams of brown sugar, accompanied by paraphernalia indicative of narcotics trade. Among the seized items were an empty container, Rs 840 in cash, two mobile phones, and a syringe, alongside 59 containers suspected of containing brown sugar.

The individuals implicated in the smuggling endeavor have been identified as Abinash Kumar Mishra, Bittu Rabidas, and Noor Hussain, all residents of Fakiragram railway colony. Currently under the custody of Bagribari police, the trio is undergoing interrogation to extract further insights into their activities and potential accomplices.
