Hajo Police Nab Major Cattle Theft Ring; Five Arrested
Hajo, March 31, 2024: In a significant breakthrough, the Hajo Police have successfully apprehended a notorious gang suspected of orchestrating a series of cattle thefts in the region. The operation, which culminated in the arrest of five individuals, marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to combat organized crime in the area.
The arrested individuals, identified as Rinku Ali, Mohibor Ali, Aziz Ali, Biju Ahmed, and Md. Ramjan Ali, were taken into custody following a meticulously planned operation in Singimari, located within the Kamrup district. Alongside the arrests, Police officials seized a cache of sharp weapons and two luxury four-wheelers believed to be linked to the criminal activities of the apprehended gang.
