Stolen Government Bolero of Sonitpur Additional District Commissioner Found; Alleged Notorious Thief Sohidul Islam Apprehended
Tezpur, April 02, 2024: In a commendable display of law enforcement prowess, a special team of Tezpur police has successfully recovered the stolen official vehicle belonging to Sonitpur Additional District Commissioner Raj Baruah. The vehicle, identified by registration number AS 01 EG 8552, was reported stolen on March 24.
The Tezpur Police, spearheaded by Officer-in-Charge Inspector Bhaskar Jyoti Bezbaruah and Sub Inspector Rahul Bora, conducted a meticulously planned raid that led to the apprehension of a notorious vehicle thief, Sohidul Islam. The stolen government Bolero was traced to Dimapur, Nagaland, where it was recovered by the diligent efforts of the police team.
