Kalapani Police Raid Five-Star Showroom in Jangal Village
Hatsingimari, April 10, 2024: In a recent operation, the Kalapani police carried out a raid on a five-star second-hand showroom in Jangal village, Mankachar. During the raid, they seized five smuggled bikes, four of which were vehicles.
Two individuals, identified as Hasibul Islam and Rakibul Islam, were arrested in connection with the illegal activity. The police apprehended them along with a total of nine smuggled vehicles.
It has been revealed that Hasibul and Rakibul Islam had been operating a second-hand vehicle business from their residence in Jangal, within the Kalapani Police Outpost area, for quite some time.
Currently, both brothers are detained by the police, who are conducting interrogations to gather further information regarding their involvement in the illicit trade.
