RCB Asserts Authority with Third Consecutive 200-Plus Score, Overpowers SRH
Sports Desk, 26 April 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) displayed commendable batting skills, crossing the 200-run mark for the third time in a row and setting a devastating target of 207 for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) though the RCB bowling team proved equally dangerous , because they dismissed the dangerous SRH opener Aiden Markram early in the powerplay over.
The powerplay phase saw SRH fall heavily, as RCB’s relentless bowling attack lost Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma in quick succession, with debutant Swapnil Singh adding to SRH’s woes with an important wicket claim by Markram, Heinrich Klaasen went, this time landing four wickets on the power play.
