Indian Army and Aadhunik India Foundation Host Agniveer Pre-Recruitment Camp for Youth Empowerment
Sonitpur, May 07, 2024: In a significant effort towards fostering inclusion and empowerment, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Aadhunik India Foundation, orchestrated an Agniveer pre-recruitment screening camp at Rangapara Army Cantonment in Sonitpur district today. The primary objective of this initiative was to identify and prepare eligible candidates from the Adivasi and Tea Garden communities for enlistment in the Armed Forces.
Attended by approximately 1200 enthusiastic youths, including young women from various Tea Gardens across Sonitpur district and neighboring areas, the event proved to be a dynamic platform for raising awareness and fostering aspirations. Spearheaded by a dedicated training team from the Indian Army, the program encompassed informative sessions, physical assessments, and ground tests, culminating in the submission of enrollment forms.
Amidst a spirited atmosphere, participants were motivated to strive towards their goal of becoming Agniveers, transitioning from raw potential to disciplined soldiers. The commanding officer of Rangapara Army Cantonment delivered an inspiring address, underscoring the importance of dedication and perseverance in the pursuit of a military career.
Key aspects of the Agniveer recruitment process, including academic requirements, physical fitness standards, and the syllabus for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE), were elucidated by the training team. National President of Aadhunik India Foundation, DK Chauhan, extended his encouragement to all Adivasi and Tea Garden youths, urging them to consider a future in the Indian Army.
