STF Raid in Karbi-Anglong Yields Significant Heroin Seizure
Desk Report, May 18, 2024: Acting on credible intelligence, Special Task Force (STF) led by Inspector Kapil Pathak executed a successful raid in Khan Basti under the jurisdiction of Khatkhati Police Station, Karbi-Anglong. During the operation, the task force apprehended an individual in possession of 11 tobacco containers, which were found to contain a total of 72.5 grams of a substance suspected to be heroin, along with other articles.
This operation represents a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region. The arrested individual and the seized items have been taken into custody, and a case has been officially registered at Khatkhati Police Station for further investigation.
