STF Raids Khanapara: Two Arrested with Heroin, Cash, and Mobile Phones
Guwahati, June 16, 2024: Acting on specific intelligence, a team from the Special Task Force (STF) led by Inspector Kapil Pathak conducted a raid in the Khanapara area under the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station. The operation resulted in the apprehension of two individuals involved in drug peddling.
During the raid, the STF team seized 25 vials containing a total of 37 grams of heroin. In addition to the narcotics, authorities also seized cash and a mobile handset from the suspects. The arrested individuals are currently in custody, and further investigations are underway.
The STF’s proactive measures and swift action underscore the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat illegal drug activities and maintain law and order.
