Special Task Force Apprehends Drug Peddler in Lalmati Raid in Guwahati
Guwahati, June 18, 2024: In a decisive operation, a team from the Special Task Force (STF), led by Inspector Kapil Pathak, conducted a successful raid at Lalmati, under the jurisdiction of Basistha Police Station. The operation resulted in the apprehension of a suspected drug peddler.
During the raid, the STF team seized 27 vials containing a total of 36 grams of heroin. Additionally, a significant amount of cash and a mobile handset were recovered from the suspect. The raid, carried out with precision and thorough planning, marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
The apprehended individual is currently in custody, and further investigations are underway to uncover any potential networks or accomplices involved in the drug trade.
