Woman Drug Peddler Apprehended in STF Operation in Hatigaon
Guwahati, July 25, 2024: Acting on reliable intelligence, a Special Task Force (STF) led by Inspector Kapil Pathak conducted a successful operation at Notbama, Sijubari Mazar, under Hatigaon Police Station. The operation resulted in the arrest of a woman drug peddler.
During the raid, the STF team seized 13 soap boxes containing heroin, weighing a total of 150.5 grams. Additionally, authorities seized a mobile handset and an undisclosed amount of cash from the suspect.
Inspector Kapil Pathak, who led the operation, commended the team’s swift and efficient action, highlighting the ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region. The arrested individual is currently in police custody, and further investigations are underway to uncover additional links in the drug distribution network.
The operation underscores the commitment of STF in their relentless pursuit to eradicate drug-related activities and maintain public safety.
