Dhubri, February 02, 2024: In a concerning development, armed miscreants have resurfaced in Bilasipara, brandishing pistols and posing a threat to public safety. The police have apprehended one of the culprits, identified as Nilchan Ali, in the Futkibari area.
Nilchan Ali was found in possession of a 7.65 mm pistol, along with four live bullets, during his arrest. He hails from Tilapara, located under the jurisdiction of Chapar police station. Additionally, a white Maruti Swift vehicle was seized from his possession.
Reports suggest that Nilchan, accompanied by another unidentified individual, had approached a target to demand money while brandishing their weapons.

While Nilchan has been detained by the Sapatgram Police Officials following an operation, the search for the other miscreant, who is currently at large, is ongoing.
Law enforcement authorities in Sapatgram remain vigilant as they intensify efforts to locate and apprehend the absconding perpetrator.
