Assam Gears Up for Advantage Assam 2.0 as CM Reviews Mega Investment Summit Preparations
Guwahati; February 15, 2024: Ahead of the much-anticipated Advantage Assam 2.0, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma chaired a key meeting with the Core Organising Group. The discussion focused on reviewing preparations for the upcoming Investment & Infrastructure Summit, which aims to attract large-scale investments to Assam.
During the meeting, officials assessed various aspects, including potential investments, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and scheduled Government-to-Business (G2B) and Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings. The objective was to ensure that all arrangements are in place to maximize investment opportunities for the state.
Apart from the summit, the Chief Minister also reviewed preparations for Jhumoir Binandini 2025 at Sarusajai Stadium. Scheduled for February 24, this grand cultural event will celebrate the rich heritage of Assam’s Tea Tribe community. The traditional Jhumoir dance will be the main highlight, with meticulous planning underway to accommodate guests, participants, and audiences seamlessly.
The state government is determined to make both events successful. While Advantage Assam 2.0 focuses on boosting economic growth, Jhumoir Binandini 2025 will showcase Assam’s deep-rooted cultural traditions.
