Assam Education Minister Announces CEE 2024 Results to Be Released Today
Guwahati, June 19, 2024: In a recent announcement, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu confirmed that the results of the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2024 for admission into the first semester B.Tech programs at Assam’s Engineering Colleges will be declared this afternoon at approximately 3:00 pm.
The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has been preparing to release the CEE 2024 results, following the examination held on June 2. Candidates who participated in the exam can access their scorecards on the official website, astu.ac.in, by logging in with their application numbers and passwords.
The university has outlined the following steps for candidates to download their results:
1. Visit the official website astu.ac.in.
2. Click on the Assam CEE 2024 result link available on the homepage.
3. Enter the required login details and submit.
4. Review and download the result.
5. Print a copy of the PDF for future reference.
According to the official notification, “CEE-2024 ranks will be generated based on the total marks secured in all three subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In case of a tie in total marks obtained, preference is given to the highest mark scored in Mathematics. If the tie still exists, then the highest mark obtained in Physics, followed by Chemistry, Date of Birth, and alphabetical order of name are taken into account sequentially.”
Candidates who qualify on merit will be eligible to participate in the upcoming counseling process. This announcement marks a significant step for students aspiring to join Assam’s esteemed engineering colleges.
