Upon visiting the site, Chief Minister Sarma undertook a comprehensive assessment of the situation and pledged a thorough investigation into the incident. Taking to X, Sarma expressed his concern, stating, “In light of today’s incident at Fancy Bazaar Ghat, I visited the site a short while ago. We are examining the matter.”
