Morigaon, February 27, 2024: Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria concluded his day-long visit to Morigaon with a series of engagements aimed at reviewing and assessing various developmental initiatives within the district. Commencing his itinerary with a significant meeting at the District Commissioner’s conference hall, Governor Kataria led discussions to evaluate the progress of diverse departments, emphasizing key projects such as the ongoing construction of the medical college and the anti-erosion measures undertaken by the Water Resources Department in Kalong.
During his comprehensive review, Governor Kataria directed attention towards pivotal infrastructural endeavors, including the advancements at the Morigaon Swahid Tilak Hemram Gunabhiram Civil Hospital and the recently erected edifice of the Solmari village panchayat.
