Assam Police Prevents Illegal Entry by Bangladeshi National Along Karimganj Border

In a swift response to an illegal infiltration attempt, Assam Police personnel stationed near the international border in Karimganj successfully intercepted and pushed back a Bangladeshi national today. The individual, identified as Md. Mustakin Islam, attempted to cross into India unlawfully, prompting the alert response from Assam’s vigilant border security team.

According to Assam Police, officers stationed at the sensitive Karimganj border noticed suspicious activity and acted immediately. Their prompt intervention prevented the potential breach, underscoring Assam’s commitment to strong border security.

Commending Assam Police’s dedication, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasized the importance of heightened vigilance along the international boundary. “We will continue to keep a strict vigil along the border,” stated Chief Minister Sarma, reaffirming the state’s stance against illegal infiltration.
