Assam Police STF Operation Leads to 691 Grams Heroin Seizure in Guwahati

Guwahati: Assam’s Special Task Force (STF) carried out a significant operation in Guwahati, leading to the seizure of 691 grams of heroin. Based on specific intelligence, the STF raided the Chandmari area under Chandmari Police Station. During the raid, two individuals were apprehended in connection with the illegal narcotics.

In addition to the heroin, two mobile phones and several other items were seized. A vehicle believed to be used by the suspects was also impounded.

This operation highlights Assam’s ongoing battle against drug trafficking, as law enforcement continues to target criminal networks involved in the illicit drug trade. The STF remains committed to cracking down on such activities to maintain law and order in the state.
