BSF and Assam Police Push Back 3 Illegal Bangladeshi Infiltrators at International Border
Desk Report, September 24, 2024: In a joint operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Assam Police intercepted and pushed back three illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators yesterday. The incident took place at the India-Bangladesh international border, demonstrating the effective vigilance of the security forces. The individuals identified were Anowar Hussain, Nashrin Sheikh, and Babli Shaikh.
According to official sources, the infiltrators attempted to cross the border under the cover of darkness. However, BSF personnel, with the support of Assam Police, swiftly took action. They successfully intercepted the group, preventing any illegal entry into Indian territory.
The coordinated efforts of both security agencies ensured that the infiltrators were returned to Bangladeshi territory, maintaining border integrity.
