Bangladeshi National Detained in Mankachar: Police Investigate
Hatsingimari, March 31, 2024: A Bangladeshi national has been detained by the Mankachar police after being arrested from Jhanjhani village under the jurisdiction of Mankachar police station.
The detained individual was found taking refuge at the residence of Khalilur Miya in Jhanjhani village. The arrest was made following information provided by the Village Defense Party (VDP) to the local police.
The arrested person has been identified as Osman Bin Hasaan Sajib, a resident of Velua village in the Sharibadi police station area of Bangladesh’s Sherpur district.
Currently, the Mankachar police are holding the Bangladeshi youth for further interrogation to ascertain the purpose of his presence in the area and other related details.
