BSF Apprehends Bangladeshi National Attempting Illegal Entry at India-Meghalaya Border
Border Security Force (BSF) personnel detained a Bangladeshi national while he attempted to cross the international border into India. The incident took place near the India-Bangladesh border in Meghalaya.
The apprehended individual, identified as Md Rabibul Islam Robin, is a resident of Sherpur District in Bangladesh. Security forces from the 100 Bn BSF noticed his suspicious movements near the border and intercepted him as he tried to enter Indian territory illegally.
Officials confirmed that vigilant BSF troops acted promptly to prevent the infiltration attempt. This proactive approach by the BSF not only prevented unauthorized entry but also highlighted the continuous efforts of Indian forces to secure the borders.
