Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Criticizes Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Over Past Incarceration
Desk Report, May 13, 2024: In a recent development, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken a critical stance against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Sarma drew attention to Kejriwal’s past incarceration, specifically highlighting his 52-day stint in Tihar Jail among hardened criminals.
Sarma subtly suggested that Kejriwal’s time in jail might have affected his memory, insinuating forgetfulness regarding past dealings involving notable figures like Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Kumar Vishwas, and Anna Hazare.
“Kejriwal ji was in jail for 52 days, and dreaded criminals stay in Tihar. Do not measure his mental health with the normal time. He is not the same Kejriwal. He forgot what he did to Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, and Kumar Vishwas. He forgot how he betrayed Anna Hazare. Memory loss is a common symptom after being in jail for two months,” remarked Chief Minister Sarma.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarma also asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is moving towards their target. He claimed, “We are confident that we are going to get 400 (seats).”
