Assam CM Reviews Progress of Guwahati-North Guwahati Bridge Construction
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today visited the construction site of the Guwahati-North Guwahati Bridge to assess its progress. During the site visit, he conducted a detailed review of all aspects of the project and instructed officials to prioritize timely completion while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
The ambitious bridge project, expected to be completed after July 2025, aims to significantly ease traffic congestion in the region. It will also reduce travel distance between the two banks of the Brahmaputra River, benefitting commuters and businesses alike.
