Chapar,February 06,2024: In a tragic incident along the expanse of National Highway 17, precisely at Dhirghat in Chapar, a harrowing collision unfolded. The parties involved were a four-wheeler, identified as a Baleno, and a two-wheeled motorbike. The repercussions of this collision were severe, particularly for a young individual hailing from Dhirghat.
Regrettably, the aftermath of the collision led to a grievous injury, resulting in the amputation of one of the young man’s lower limbs. The severed limb lay forlorn on the asphalt of the highway, bearing witness to the gravity of the situation. Swift response teams were deployed, and the injured youth was expeditiously transported to a local medical facility. However, recognizing the urgency and complexity of the case, the decision was made to transfer the victim to Bongaigaon for more advanced and comprehensive medical care.

The young person involved in this unfortunate incident is identified as Kamal of Dhirghat, adding a poignant personal touch to the narrative. The vehicles entangled in this calamitous event bore distinct identification numbers: AS 17 K 8220 for the four-wheeler and AS 17 P 4392 for the motorcycle.
Police arrived at the scene, undertaking the responsibility of securing and transporting the accident-involved vehicles to the pressure police station.
