Congress MP Rakibul Hussain Attacked in Rupahihat, Security Personnel Fire Warning Shots

February 20, 2025: In a shocking incident, Congress MP Rakibul Hussain was attacked by miscreants at Natun Bazar in Rupahihat, Nagaon district, earlier today. He was on his way to Gunabari to attend a Congress workers’ meeting when the attack occurred.

Reports state that a group of individuals covered their faces with black cloth and waved black flags at Hussain before launching the assault. The miscreants also attacked his bodyguards, further escalating the situation.

To protect the MP and prevent further violence, his security personnel fired warning shots in the air. This quick response ensured Hussain’s safety and prevented any serious injuries.
