Guwahati, January 13, 2024 – The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has officially released the proposed route for the much-anticipated ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Assam. The yatra is scheduled to take place from January 18 to 25, 2024, covering 17 districts across the state.
According to the disclosed itinerary, the yatra will kick off at the Interstate border in Haluating, Assam, at around 9 am. The journey will include a roadshow and public meeting in Amguri Town on the first day. Lunch is arranged in Puthinadi under Mariani LAC, followed by further engagements in the Gibon Forest region, a roadshow in Mariani Town, and an overnight stay in Jorhat.
The subsequent days will witness an extensive coverage of various towns and districts:
January 19, 2024:
- Nimatighat to Afalaghat over the river Brahmaputra.
- Roadshow from Afalaghat to Kamalabari Chariali.
- Journey to Aunati Satra.
- Lunch at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex Jengraimukh Majuli.
- Afternoon roadshows at Jengraimukh and Dhakuakhana.
- Night stay at Gogamukh.
January 20, 2024:
- Starting point from Boginadi.
- Roadshow at Lakhimpur Town.
- Lunch at Gobindapur.
- Roadshow at Laluk, Harmati, and Nawboisa.
