Cyber Police, CID Recovers Over ₹42 Lakh in Fraud Case
Guwahati, August 02, 2024: In a significant breakthrough, the Cyber Police Station, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Assam has recovered Rs. 42,17,839/- in connection with a defraud case involving a sum of Rs. 2,01,73,200/-. The recovered amount has been credited back to the victim’s bank account.
The CID’s Cyber Police Station is continuing its efforts to recover the remaining lost amount. Authorities are working tirelessly to trace and retrieve the remaining funds to provide full restitution to the victim.
In light of this incident, the Cyber Police Station, CID, Assam, has issued a public advisory urging everyone to exercise extreme caution while conducting financial transactions.
