Irfan Khondker, Dhubri, January 22, 2024: In a jubilant display of joy and unity, the people of Dhubri district enthusiastically celebrated the historic inauguration of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Joining the nationwide fervor, the residents of Dhubri came together to witness the auspicious occasion with great enthusiasm.
The district had been immersed in the festivities for the past few days, marked by cultural and religious programs, including bhajans, kirtans, puja ceremonies, and the distribution of prasad. On the day of the inauguration, various groups and individuals, spanning NGOs, socio-cultural organizations, religious bodies, and political parties, collaborated to organize a rally throughout Dhubri town, expressing their collective happiness.
The rally, which traversed the main thoroughfares of the town, featured participants carrying saffron flags, banners, posters, and portraits of Lord Ram, accompanied by Lord Hanuman, Sita, and Laxman. Slogans of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” resonated through the air as sweets were distributed among the people.
Notably, the rally saw attendance from individuals of diverse backgrounds, regardless of caste, creed, religion, or political affiliation. Organizers emphasized that the event symbolized the unity and harmony of the people of Dhubri, showcasing their respect for and celebration of the country’s diversity.
Expressing gratitude, participants extended their thanks to both the central and state governments for facilitating the construction and inauguration of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya—a long-cherished dream of the Hindu community.
