Corruption Unveiled: Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Nabs Alamganj Gram Panchayat Secretary
Dhubri, March 13, 2024: In a recent development, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption has successfully apprehended Nurul Islam Mollah, the Secretary of Gauripur’s Alamganj Gram Panchayat, red-handed. Mr. Mollah was caught in his office premises accepting a sum of Rs. 10,000. This illicit transaction was linked to the sanctioning of funds under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) scheme.
